Each Lawrence Campbell piece is individually designed and created. His cannon, carriage and other creations span centuries and bring historic artillery pieces to life in modern times. Below is a sampling of some completed projects.

Spanish Six Pounder

El Jefe is a private commission, fully ornate cannon with a styling that dates to the late 1600s and early 1700s. The barrel is adorned with the Castillo and Leon Coat of Arms and sits atop a Spanish naval carriage.

A pair of these French cannon can be seen in the Frazier History Museum. They were modeled after an original cast in Strasbourg, France in 1758. They have the raised Coat of Arms of France, as well as many other detailed decorations on the barrel including the cloud in fulminate and the Sun in Splendor of Louis XIV.

The Florida Park Service commissioned a fully functional carriage for their original 10-inch Rodman, Civil War era cannon, at Fort Zachary Taylor in Key West, Florida.

This is a scaled down copy of an 18th century mortar/howitzer made from drawings of the original. The original was made by Cyprianus Crans and sank on the Hollandia in July 1743.

These commissioned pieces are exact replicas of a breechloader found in the wreckage of the 1715 Fleet, the only bronze cannon found in the 1715 wreck site.

This field carriage is a Lawrence Campbell Original design, inspired by standard 18th century European double trail style carriages. This piece was made to be easily transportable for reenactors and has removable axle pins that allow for partial disassembly so it can be put in a vehicle and take minimal space.

This Carriage was commissioned by the National Park Service to carry an original cannon that was pulled out of the water. The cannon and carriage are on display at Biscayne National Park.
